Can someone explain why Hiller always wears a black helmet? I have never really seen him wear a customized helmet his whole career. Is it a superstitious thing for him?

He started the season with a red mask, and has a pretty amazing retro mask.

True, but it is still an awesome mask, IMO. I'd love to see that mask regularly if we made the retro's our regular jerseys, but that's a discussion for another time/thread.

Our GDTs at the start of the season were barely cracking 10 pages (which has been the norm for years) so prior to the start of games we'd try to fill it up with nonsense images. Then it turned into horse gifs, then other stuff for a time, then it became pizza gifs and we just kept winning.

Actually once you know it's there, you see it all the time now.

Both Brodie and Backlund in particular had amazing games. Brodie played almost 28:32, Backlund set up the play that resulted in Bennett scoring.

Good to see no one really wilting under the pressure of playoffs.

Other than Hillier, I could not pick two more Flame stars tonight. I didn't think anyone stood way out. Just so many guys with solid efforts tonight. Nothing fancy, just lunch pail effort. Great team effort. Everyone is contributing in some way.
