In a league where the refs have an impact every game and miss dozens of calls every game the Flames don't stand a chance.
Opposing coaches:
"Just target Johnny, don't worry about taking penalties because we'll get away with ten times more than we'll ever get called for. Slash, chop or just hit him in the head. It's open season, no rules boys!"
This league has never protected it's small talented players. Honestly, I find it hard to care much about the league because of the atrocious reffing year in year out. I could see myself just giving up on hockey altogether after this season. Can anyone tell me the point in watching a competition with no rules? It's not really a competition anymore, not sure what to call it.
