This one was pretty obvious, great season. Karlsson has just begun to enter a period where few in NHL history have gone. Just look at the small number that have even won just 2 Norris trophies, elite company.

And yet many folks here rage endlessly shift by shift. Enjoy being able to watch this guy on our team for years to come, you'll tell your kids you got to watch him one day.

Well deserved.


I played my whole life as a pure offensive guy and I'm 22 now, younger I would get up to watch highlights of Pavel Bure as he was my favorite player ever. Karlsson is a dman (insert weak forward joke here) but he is really becoming my favorite player ever.


Such a joy to watch him play every game really I am proud to be a Senators fans and to have his jersey. It is really cool to see how he became such a good hockey player and how much work he put in even when his career could've been over. I am looking forward to a full year of him and Methot and many more years of pleasure watching him play as this team grows. Congratulations to Drew Doughty and P.K. Subban who are both really good dmens and worthy of it but it takes a winner.
