Highly doubt HF is going to allow anything like this on their website. Lol

It won't change anything as long as Geoff Molson is still in power. For all we know Lefebvre could be next in line after Bergevin. Or even worst Therrien.

Too bad I don't live in Montreal. But I support this.

Didn't someone make a petition to get MT fired last season?

Sure, he probably didnt get canned because of it, but he still got fired.

Enough with Bergevin already. He has no fn' clue. Same with Molson. Two idiots running this team, this is what we get.

Pretty sure the whole country and hockey world would be talking about it, it could work, CTV news showed up for the Kovalev protest and televised it.

Someone will bring up that the replacement has to speak French, and we'll have "Habsgate"just like "Pastagate" or "Bonjour/Hi" ... and we'll come across like idiots again while they laugh their heads off at it.

You would likely get more people if it was a protest for a French coach

Best way to protest is not to protest. Ignore the team, don't spend a dime on the team or any businesses that support it. Spend your time and money doing other things. Not only should MB go but starting to think Molson needs to sell the team away to a good owner that cares about winning and not just profits.

Not childish. And would make a difference FAST. Better than call ctv news...

Molson won't sell it though ... he's making too much money.

Even if half the fans leave, the demand would still be high with those fans left and he'll still fill the Bell Center (maybe at slightly cheaper seats) and still get his TV revenues.

It's not unprecedented. Habs fans (or maybe politically motivated people) staged a protest when we had an English only speaking coach a few years ago.

I also think there was a rally to resign kovalev back in 2009.

How many tickets can people ''stop buying'' though? I was under the impression that very few tickets are generally for sale directly from the club. Season tickets holders and re-sellers grab the rest.
