That is understandable as a considerable number of posters here are outside of Montreal, however I do think that a petition to Geoff Molson might garner more support and reach a larger audience.

Molson won't sell it though ... he's making too much money.

Even if half the fans leave, the demand would still be high with those fans left and he'll still fill the Bell Center (maybe at slightly cheaper seats) and still get his TV revenues.

It's not unprecedented. Habs fans (or maybe politically motivated people) staged a protest when we had an English only speaking coach a few years ago.

I also think there was a rally to resign kovalev back in 2009.

How many tickets can people ''stop buying'' though? I was under the impression that very few tickets are generally for sale directly from the club. Season tickets holders and re-sellers grab the rest.
