Lovejoy really needs to sit. Butcher needs to be given more minutes, Greene less, and Boyle also needs to sit.
This will be addressed in the offseason appropriately

It's not like he hasn't been playing period though. And it's not like Lovejoy, Moore, Mueller and Severson are really giving you anything spectacular.
This team has been far too tentative in most of these first two games. It's like they're so afraid of being beaten by Tampa's offensive players that they've forgotten what got them here in the first place.
Hynes said during the game that he thought the defense play well in the first period. I must have been watching a different game.
They need to tweak the lineup, not take an axe to it.
It wouldn't have mattered who was in goal the way we played the first two periods. That being said, Kinkaid has given up 9 goals in a little over 90 minutes so far in this series, so even if most of them weren't his fault, I can understand going to Cory Monday.
We gave up only 6 shots
100% agreed with everything. There is no better time to make a goalie change. Do it now and hope it sparks Cory's confidence that he could save the series
He looked more confident in that third then he has in months.
Kind of an ideal spot for a struggling goalie to come in. All he can really do in that spot is help. No matter who the goalie is Monday, we need them to make some great saves. Saying it was a "tough save" is not good enough, fair or not.
Well special teams does need to be better, maybe playing one of your best PK guys (Gibbons) would help lol...granted I'm not in love with his non-PK game either but you kind of need all hands on deck against this sick PP.

Palms seems to have a good year than an off year, then a good year then an off year etc, hopefully next year he's betterYeah I always thought he was very good at puck battles. Not sure if I was 100% wrong or if he has just fallen off a cliff this year.
Not something to roast him in when everyone was calling for Gibbons to sit after game 1.
Not for 11 forwards mind you, but people wanted him out.
