It's possible to separate frustration with a sports team from real life issues. You act like I wake up every day sweating over the Bruins and am actively seething at all times. Far from it. From time to time I am reminded by what a f***ing overrated failure the 2022-23 Bruins were and voice my opinion on it.
To each their own, of course im not trying to tell you how to live your life. in my defense from your post where you said you'll beat this dead horse until the day you die made it seem like it was a daily frustration.

Fair enough, I'm definitely prone to hyperbolizing how I feel about the way the season ended.

Not worse than 2019.
Not worse than 2014.
Not worse than 2010.

And for the ‘Boomers out there…

Not worse than 1979.
Not worse than 1974.
Not worse than 1971.

And I’m just talking about hockey. For those of us who love the other Boston teams, there are other heartbreaks, too.

So it's not just me?

It's still raw and I'm nowhere close to over this one.

I haven't thought about it much over the last month. Too busy for that. But last night it hit me like a ton of bricks out of nowhere. It was like I just heard aliens land that's how shocking it was all of a sudden.

They should replace the Spoked-B with a choking dog for the Centennial.

You left 2013 out. Went down with minimal fight. The last min of game 6 will live in lore.

2023 Embarrassing to the point of it will take a gun to my head or a Cup win to wear Bruins gear again in public. Not just the round one exit, the regular season, the records, up 3-1, et al.
2019 another sad end in the local barn.
2014 pretty much everything after 2011 is the same underachievement joke on the fans.
2011 Tim Thomas and David Krejci (12 goals, 23 points and 4 game-winning goals) the Conn Smythe runner up, drove that bus.
2010 Krejci breaks his wrist, people make a hobby of discounting how important he was at that time as well as his contribution to the 2011 Cup. In 2011 He personalty took the Flyers apart that series, 4G 5A 9Pts 3GWG, Most of the rest of his career was wasted with line mates who couldn't play with him.

"And for the ‘Boomers out there…"
I'm use to Gen X being ignored.
1979, 1974, 1971, Tough fought, heartbreak, but could live with it with head held high. Same with 1988 and 1990
