Haskins could become the second coming of Jesus Christ and he'd still suck at football. His attitude is only half his problem, the other half is that he's just not very good. The CFL might be his calling.

You tryin to say Jesus Christ can't throw a football?

Top NFL draft picks busts have never succeeded in the CFL at QB. Ever. I can't understand why people keep saying this.
I looked at every QB drafted in NFL in the top 2 rounds of the draft since 1999. 8 of them went onto the CFL. 7 of them were huge busts in CFL, one of them was mediocre in his mid 30's as a backup.

1. Josh Freeman (1st Round 17th overall 2009, Tampa Bay) - Attended camp with Montreal in 2017. Could not crack the roster, wasn't even in top 3 for MTL, a team without a QB at the time.
2. Akili Smith (1st Round 3rd overall 1999, Cincinnati) - Was the 3rd stringer for the Stampeders in 2007. Threw 3 picks in 10 pass attempts in his first game action (also lost a fumble in that appearance). Lasted just a couple more weeks before being released.
3. Brian Brohm (2nd Round 56th overall 2008, Green Bay) - Bounced around as a 2nd/3rd stringer for 3 years with Hamilton and Winnipeg between 2013-2015. Threw 5 picks to 1 td over that time. Was terrible when forced onto field.
4. Johnny Manziel (1st Round 22nd overall 2014, Cleveland) - Bounced around as a 2nd/3rd stringer in CFL for a couple of years. Was mediocre in limited playing time with Montreal.
5. Shaun King (2nd Round 50th overall 1999, Tampa Bay) - Could not make the Tiger-Cats out of camp in 2007.
6. Pat White (2nd Round 55th overall 2009, Miami) - Spent one season as the Eskimos 3rd stringer as just the short yardage QB.
7. Vince Young (1st Round 3rd overall 2006, Tennessee) - Attempted a comeback in 2017 at age 34 with the Roughriders. Couldn't crack the roster.

The only counter example I can find is John Beck (2nd Round 40th overall 2007, Miami) - Spent 2 seasons as the Lions backup QB in 2014 and 2015. Finished with 9TDs v 4 INT in 120 career attempts. So was ok as a backup at ages 33-34.
