Not sure why Sheahan is receiving hate? Or at least being called run of the mill?

Babcock was praising Sheahan in an interview the other day, I think he even came close to smiling. Call me crazy but if Babcock almost smiles when he's talking about you, you're probably a pretty damn fine hockey player.

Hate? I'm not seeing any hate. One poster is under-selling Sheahan to try to prove a point about our drafting. Thus far I've seen no one agree with his assessment; those who have engaged in that discussion have defended Sheahan and disagreed with the person who, we seem to believe, is under-selling Riley.

General consensus here seems to be a fanbase excited by the player they have in Sheahan, appreciating the hell out of him and expecting bigger and better things from him in the future. I know I'm a big fan.
