Do we have untouchable players?

Hard for me to say we have any untouchable players on this team.Or in our prospect pool.
Dahlin would be the closest thing.
Maybe Levi
Not sure about the rest of the team or prospects.
This is sad.

I'd say no, there is no untouchable. There is really, really unlikely to be traded (Dahlin, Levi, Benson) and then various shades of available from there.

Ostlund because natural center prospect with huge upside

I can't imagine a scenario in which Dahlin is traded. But I think he's the only one.

Skinner is untouchable because of his age, drop in production, $9M a year salary, but mostly because of that NMC.

Other than that.... I wouldn't move Dahlin or Levi. Others would be tough for me to move, but if the price were right, I could see trading just about anyone else.

the Sabres are not even close to capped out. Thompson, Cozens, Power and Dahlin until after the season can be moved along with most everyone else except Skinner. They can move whomever they need to to fit under a rising cap. What they have to stop doing is make the fans believe there is a core. There isn’t one until you win.

I think the only untouchable players for the new General Manager should be: Dahlin, Benson and Tuch.
The rest can go to non traditional hockey markets and win rigged Stanley Cups.

UPL - This will get flamed but he is a real life NHL goalie this year. Levi isn't there yet. and there is nobody behind him on the bench. He has to be extended)
