It feels like the only game we've won against them in the last 2+ years was when Kinkaid stole the game and had 45 saves or something and we won in a shootout in DC on the dad's trip last year.

The only other time I can remember beating them in the last 3 years is when Cammalleri was gifted a goal from Holtby in the 3rd period on a giveaway and we beat them 1-0. I think Pete was still here, that's how long ago that was.

Giving Washington that many power plays will essentially kill any team. Especially one with such a questionable defense.

Sloppy game. Passes into skates, passes to nowhere, players running into each other, drop passes at the blue lines, turnovers at the blue lines, etc. Caps' game plan was executed perfectly, but our play didn't help matters. The way you beat teams that clog up the neutral zone is quick passes and speed, and we just weren't on our game at all.
