Even some of Pete's WTF moments were a tiny bit more logical than some of Hynes this year.

He loved Bernier with Elias, but at least Bernier was once a good player and had a couple good seasons early on/was a first round pick in the deepest draft in arguably decades.

I'm more mad that Bennett has to play with Gazdic. Why not play Gazdic with Kalinin's line and let DSP center a line with Bennett? How is Kalinin any better of a center than DSP? DSP is playing center anyway?


Anyone who thinks Kalinin is useful is off the deep end, and I believe you were one of them who acted like he was great. I can't believe anyone would.

Again, no. Never said he was great this year. He is a fine player to have on the 4th line. Thats about it. The fact you would think DSP would be a better center is laughable and an indictment on your hockey IQ. Also sick of seeing a day in and day out bashing of a player who solely played 4th line this year. Like he is a reason why this team is where its at

DSP probably isn't a better center than Kalinin, but Kalinin isn't good at ANYTHING.

And Kalinin is not a fine player to have on your 4th line, he's just a guy. Who is he a better 4th liner than? Gazdic? That's even debatable.

And the problem is guys like Kalinin and Josefson have still played in the top 9 WAY too much this year. Josefson has played on the 4th line like once or twice all year. He's been a third liner (maybe playing fewer minutes than Fiddler sometimes) or a healthy scratch.
