Man I am bored watching the Senators lately. I'll never cheer for my team to lose but at some point I wonder if it takes a basement finish for the management to do something. The product on the ice is bad AF.


I liked Claesson, I still hate Wiercioch, tired of seeing that weak giraffe losing puck battles and missing his shots, bad bad hockey player.

Agreed.

I hate to see the team lose, but it's starting to look like it might be the best thing in the long run. Either we get the funds and go-ahead to make a deal for a couple guys that will make an impact on the team, or we get a great pick.

Claesson had a solid debut. Kid looks like an NHLer.

Weir...decent. Not making the glaring errors from the beginning of the season. Can't expect much from him....he did his job.

Our top 6 and skill guys.....not seeing much hustle or fire lately. Something is amiss......either half the team has the flu, or the room has gone sour.

A few years late....but I ain't even mad. Bubble team is a bubble team.

On the other hand, it's easy to play good D if the other team doesn't even try to score. Devils had 0(!) Offensive Zone starts in 42 minutes of even strength play.

Today's NHL is all about special teams. The PK sucks lately but the pp is the worst we've ever seen for a good while now. What happened to their so called great pp specialist coach acquisition. The pp is more predictable than ever. It plain stinks!

3 cups in less then ten years.

EDIT: after reflecting on the game, honestly the team played a solid game. The personel isn't good enough to overcome Jersey hockey when the Devils have a two goal lead but outside of the early penalties (and the Turris one was very, very weak) the Senators carried the play for most of the night and Schneider was very good.

i thought we did alright after the first period. just made two big mistakes that cost us and couldn't get one past a great goalie. we had our chances and couldn't convert. it happens

i was impressed by wier. he's playing with some confidence. night and day between tonight and earlier in the season. he was alright last game too.

I pride myself in trying to watch every Senators game but I had to call it quits and fast forward the last five minutes of that third period (PVR).

I get it, the Devils are more successful than the Senators, they can't hear us over their Stanley Cup rings clogging their neutral zone, etc....but seriously. Pro sports is meant as entertainment. I'd rather a team be mediocre but fun to watch rather than exceptionally successful but more boring than Jared Cowen TSN 1200 interviews.
