I'm rather enjoying the live stream. Nicely put together by the Canesvision folks. Wish the white team had numbers so we could tell who they are
Nit-picky initial feelings:
- McGinn looks pretty good without the puck. I can see the LaRose 2.0 comparison and that's not a bad thing.
- Fleury isn't very impressive with the puck on his stick. Big kid with nice footwork, though. He doesn't look NHL ready to me, at first glance.
- Aleardi made some interesting plays, but that may just come with being older and professionally experienced compared to most of these other guys.
- Pederson dropped a guy with his strength, nice to see.
Not much else besides that. These development camp drills are always a bit of a tease, it's nice to see the players but hard to take very much away from what you see.
