I’d put Slavin on PP 1. Park him in front of the net. Big body, quick hands would be good at screening the goalies eyes and hands are quick enough to deflect shots into the net.

I've said the same thing several times. He has elite puck tracking hands. He'd be great in front of the net.

Also will prepare us for when we get Nikishin from Russia where he has been used as a net front guy on the PP by Spartak.

Any word on whether they have the “good” or the “bad” symptom COVID?

If all goes well, we may see them during the 2nd or 3rd game on the trip. Bear is now back for two days and will be informative for these two re: when they come back on how soon they let Bear play.

How long does thie "protocol" last

Luckily @Lempo was kind enough to find the Protocol and link it in the thread on Bear.

E. ENDING ISOLATION

Players or Club personnel whose test has been confirmed positive shall remain in isolation until all of the
following conditions have been satisfied:

• If at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared, and at least 24 hours have passed since last
fever without the use of fever-reducing medications, and symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath,
etc.) have improved (with the exception of continued loss of taste or smell so long as other symptoms
have improved).

• In addition, the Club Physician, its infectious disease expert, and any other treating physician providing
care to the individual, must conclude that the individual no longer presents a risk of infection to others,
and that it is medically appropriate (given individual and local circumstances) to terminate the
requirement for self-isolation.

• The termination of the isolation requirement is consistent with applicable local public health regulations
or other requirements.

Sounds like neither will be back until the Minnesota next game because of Canada rules... What a damn bummer that our Canada road trip falls like this keeping these guys out longer than they would normally be.
Gotta give them all the advantages they can get to be competitive!
