Very interesting and troubling about the very possible sources of the Covid virus, and the role of two US Universities and the Wuhan Laboratory in developing altered forms of Covid virus that don't need animals to spread it to humans. Fauci knew about it long time ago as well as many important scientists worldwide who encouraged these researches. "Découverte" made a very serious journalistic research. Bottom line, they let (accidentally) the Genius out of the bottle. But why having created it to start with.... According to these scientists: to prevent and cure future pandemia. Ouch !!!

Name me on side effect from any vaccine that takes more than 1 year to show up.
The trials outcomes about adverse events are done and have been for a while.
There is a pretty big difference between chronic medication and vaccines.

The trials that were done followed the rules, they haven't cut corners.

Further to this point, the relatively quick creation of this vaccine is a function of the resources that went into it.

Covid has been the spotlight issue for almost two years now across the entire world.

Some lesser known diseases will never get the amount of resources that this vaccine got in such a short time, and it will be an exponentially slower process to find treatments or cures to those diseases.

I love this wait for long term effects argument. If you don't have short term effects from small exposure, you aren't going to suddenly develop some long term ones a year, or two, or 5 down the line.
That's not how things work man.

There are lots of known long term effects of COVID. Long term effects of being on a ventilator, and of being in bed in an induced coma, are known and are really, really not good. The long term effects of dying of COVID are a little too well known.

Moderna is doing a pentavalent vaccine (3 flu, Covid and RSV) so we'll see how it goes. It's possible that it's going to be annual, but not a guarantee. The hope is that the flu part generate enough antibodies to be good for longer.

Israel is still the testing ground where 3rd dose was not too long expanded to all aged +12. There is some early data on 3rd doses efficacy however not sure if something for lower ages will be available anytime soon.

They would have been better finding a way to vaccinate the other 39% of their population instead.

It's pretty much a given that a third dose will boost the immunity provided by the vaccine, the question is if/when is it necessary?

Elderly/immunocompromised? Sure. General population? I don't see it yet.
