If LOVE to see Kessel win the CS trophy. That would put a little hitch in my giddy up.

If the pens go on to win, it would likely be

Sid
Geno
Phil

In that order

Not sure what's worse, you singling out a playoff choking team out of quite a few on the list... or your actual choices.

Wow. What did the Caps do to you? A player didn't sign an autograph for you?

I'm surprised that was from a mtl fan. Not even a rival.

Enjoy your cups from the XVII century l'ami. And your battle with Buffalo and Arizona for the next decade to come.

Minnesota: Dubnyk
LA: Doughty
Anaheim: Gibson

I based these on the players that need to step up in order for the team to win the cup. This is especially true in Anaheim, New Jersey, and St. Louis.

Pittsburgh: Crosby (if the Pens win the Cup, he'd have to be really bad to not win it)

Don't agree with this at all. Crosby was damn good in 2009 (lead the playoffs in goal scoring, second with 31 points, which is more than pretty much anyone since that year), yet didn't win because Malkin was more deserving.

So I know HF believes that Crosby just has to be within 5 points of his teammate to win the Conn Smythe regardless of how he actually plays, it's simply not true. He was 100% the choice last year, and he had a decent argument in 2016 along with Kessel, Letang, and Murray.

-----

Anyway, my picks would be:
Was - Ovechkin
Pit - Malkin
Clb - Bobrovsky
NJ - Hall
Phi - Giroux
TB - Hedman
Bos - Marchand
Tor - Matthews

Nsh - Subban
Wpg - Wheeler
Min - Dubnyk
Vgk - Fleury
SJ - Burns
Ana - Getzlaf
LA - Doughty
Col - MacKinnon

LOL at the people who think that Nashville's 4th D will win the Conn. The only way Nashville gets a sniff is if Rinne carries them. If they are that desperate for help from their 2nd pairing D, they don't survive the 1st round

LOL at all the people saying Subban. He would be a big part of a Preds win but I dont see how it could be anyone but Rinne. Hell, there was apparently talk of giving it to Rinne last year even though he lost.
