March 1st
Today's the official start of College Free Agency, not many teams have completed their schedule though, expect a slow trickle for now

I am hoping Jack McBain goes the FA route after the season. Has been an absolute force this year and really picked up his game the last two years.

The ones that I want and don't sign here are the biggest jerks
I have to remind myself the same thing every year - I always want 10-15 of them on the list, most 6'2" or taller. And every time, about 5% of the college FAs amount to anything better than squat, nearly every one of them being a shrimp.

Regardless...Jerks!

AHL for a lot of these guys
Then you have Brandon Scanlin who could be a middle pairing PP/PK stud
And everything in between

How soon would Scanlin be able to contribute do you think?

I remember Janney and Joyce coming aboard for the stretch run after the Olympics in 88 --- is there anyone capable of doing something similar this year?

On a playoff team? Doubtful, that's asking a lot of that particular player

In a different organization I can see Scanlin being thrown in the deep end without floaties just to give him a taste and see how he does
That would never happen with Boston, it's Providence first and reassess
