Some day Leipzig will play a back three under a creative coach, and it will be beautiful:

Werner - Augustin
Forsberg - Keita - Kampl - Bruma
Laimer
Upamecano - Orban - Klostermann

If Mertens hadn't mucked his penalty it could be 2-2 against City. Very impressive that.

Isak is a bold change. Yarmolenko was total garbage tonight anyway. Too bad Toljan is ruining everything on the right side now anyway. Bosz will have to consider playing Bartra as RB more often.

I think Liverpool really needed this goal glut. Time to chase the ghosts away a bit and take this confidence into the next match. Results are coming; the product is great.

Also another goal for Promes. 2g 2a vs Sevilla...big showing at home for him.

Great defensive game from Spurs. Could have won the game with better choices in the final third. Still great results for them so far, 7 points in 3 games.

As for Monaco, they're on a roll. Like an awful roll. They are shaky in every defensive situation. Besiktas is a solid team, plays tough, fouls a lot, is well organized and plays smart when they have the ball.
Monaco is playing exactly the contrary : soft, lazy, flat, mess defensively.

Besiktas' second and winning goal was offside (Babbel was).
But since they scored a goal wrongly refused before that...

The key for Liverpool was to finish the first or second chance. Thats what they need to do going forward because when they do, it will deflate the opponent big time. Like today.

The last second heroic effort from Pulisic to Aubameyang and then Bartra on the rebound denied by the keeper

Grats to Spurs fans. 99% chance Dortmund are out now. If Madrid and Spurs both beat APOEL, Dortmund would have to have to win out just to take it to goal differential.

Spartak pretty much clinched Europa League spot with their greatest win in years.

Now, if they can get 1 point in Spain chances are high they make it out of the group.

Promes has an unbelievable game, that last goal was a thing of beauty
