MDC sometimes makes a nice play, but his brain operates at a snail’s pace most of the time. It’s ****ing astounding that he was scouted as a “sniper” going into the draft when he can’t even get a shot off.

He doesn't have the time he used to have when he was younger. His skating isn't good enough to allow him to get into open areas either. We'll see, he still has some time and has come a long way since his first call up. I'd guess he'll be taking over Kuhnhackl's role next year.

I haven't seen MDC shoot the puck. Don't get all the hype about this kid.
What does he even do well?
Even on defense it isn't like he skates well.
