I can assure you that will not happen. Having watched every game of Bailey for the past 2 seasons he is a below replacement level player at this point. He can provide good veteran leadership though, by all accounts a great guy.

This is a great trade. Spreading out picks over the years is going to end up being a very nice way to feather out contracts as well.

If all goes as well as my fantasies, Bedard will be signing a gigantic contract that kicks in July of 2026. Will be nice to have ELC players from prior drafts to put around him
