Doing a favour to Stecher. Phoenix only plays Anaheim once more. Calgary plays them three more times. 3 times the chances to take a run at Zegras.
and teams don't have to buy new jerseysVery convienent, their parents don't need to learn new addresses.
It's the cherry on top of a spectacular week of trading."We just traded for your brother!"
"Sweet! Who's leaving?"
"You."
It's so awesome being a fan of a team that never manages assets. It was great losing, Iginla, Kipprusoff, JBow, Phaneuf, Giordano and Gaudreau for nothing. Then watching Brad swing a homerun trade that enabled the team to finally rebuild this year and next. Then watching ownership decide to move a 1st to dump Monahan so we could replace him with a boat anchor for 7 year. Then watching ownership force Brad to extend to 30 year olds to monster retirement contracts.
Yup. I don't blame Treliving. We all have bosses. I think he's a smart guy. Norman Edwards the British taxpayer is a stain on this city and province.Treliving is just a puppet in the Flames office. 100% Flames ownership makes all the calls.
They are and I was wondering the same thingAre Nick and Brett brothers? If so how many times have brothers have been traded for each other?
Coyotes get a younger defenseman with some potential, Flames get a slight upgrade in a couple positions hoping they can catch Seattle as for the last 40 games or so they've played at the same level as one another. Can someone from either team explain this to an outside observer?
Watching all this happen is even more cruel.I don’t kno why but this trade feels kinda cruel lol
This was just a cash saving measure. They won't have to get new jerseys made up.NHL to nix this deal as it has determined that Arizona illegally made a hockey trade
Huh? We literally upgraded our roster for free. Odds are Mackey wasn't getting qualified anyways and N. Ritchie is an upgrade on LucicThis would’ve been a move I’d be more happy about if the flames were good this year. Just looks to entrench Calgary in that beautiful 9th place spot
