Evans had the #3 center job in his hands. Paquette is a 4th liner at best.

Criss lol, the guy has 97 playoff games in his career and hes only 27 , pas pire
at 21 yrs old he played 20 playoff games and a final vs chicago in 2015
and he was even still on the tampa team that won the cup in the bubble, another 20 playoff games, i thought he had left tampa by then
he was on pace for 10+ goals that year too, 13 goals the year before
he was trending well until the pandemic and then left tampa for gulp, ottawa

he could surprise, with sheer effort
