How to compare with Maxim Lapierre? Same style? Because I really like Lapierre when he is been with Habs.

He was never the fastest skater but it seems like he lost a step in the past year or so. Low risk, only 1 year. So no big deal if it doesn’t work out.

Love this, he is an SOB on the ice who kills penalty, plays wing and centre, not only is he good and being the villain much like Chiarot he enjoys it.

We the Big Bad Habs now boys.

Look, Paquette isn't anything special, but you don't play over 400 games and 95 playoffs games as a 13th forward, 4th liner. He's clearly an nhl player.

He won't win you games, but he won't be expected to. You just need reliable minutes from your 4th line guys and he'll bring that.

Staal needed to be replaced and you still need some insurance on Evans' development.

Term and money is fine. About to turn 28, so not too old. Hopefully he can find his game again. Was an effective player at one point.

Yup... and adding a francophone depth guy, provided that doesn't lead to overplaying him bc of that cultural factor, is a good thing whether ppl appreciate that lens or not.

We need the depth forwards and he fits the bill. He's a true NHL player and he happens to be Quebecois. Really struggling to see how this is an issue even if he's nothing be to be excited about.
