Are you sure? You are not describing the Cody Ceci I saw, or anyone else saw last year

You mean the one who took on the toughest minutes, had the lowest GA/60 of the D and the lowest turnover /60 on the D? The player whom when every other D man played with him, their GA/60 fell?

He certainly was miscast in Toronto and asked to do too much, but he was their best defensive D last year if you rate it by the puck going into the net. And he is doing the same this year. The puck goes in the net a lot less when he is on the ice and he does not turn it over very often.

No team should be jumping up and down to get Ceci, but in the same vein they certainly shouldn't worry too much about it either.
