That's going to screw over some people for sure.
24 GMs, 24 players per category is just as good as 32 GMs, 32 players per category.

What matters is the statistical spread for cap hits, which I'll look into this week.

Best,
Panda

Gonna have to step out of this one unfortunately, I'm very busy these next couple of weeks and would probably end up getting skipped more often than not. Would have loved to participate, looks like fun.

Was waiting for Panda's cap calculation but never came so...

RULES (updated)
- Salary cap will be $80,000,000 (+5M from last game)
- Rounds 3 and 4 will both be reversed (last pick of 1st round has first pick of 3rd and 4th round).. Round 5 will go back to regular order
- Each category will be trimmed down to 22 players (either 0 or 1 remaining players depending on if we get one more GM)
- Time limit per pick will be 3 hours from Rounds 1-9, 2 hours from Round 10-15, and 1 hour from Rounds 16-20
- We will do a draft to select draft position
- Voting: top 8 teams in both divisions move to playoffs meaning 5/6 teams do not make it. The teams will be ranked in order based on average votes and 1vs.8 matchup style.

After evaluating categories further with reduction to 22 players, cap will be 83M instead of 80. Still gotta watch out for the landmines tho

I think my ask as to how many teams got lost on the discord, but there was that cap hit chart I posted somewhere.

We will likely have some busts, but dropping from 22 to 21 players without reducing the number of possible selections will help.
