Kelowna is about a 3 hour drive from Seattle.

The Kelowna property is not their "main house", rather there are two houses on the property, the "main house" and the "man cave". They purchased this property well before the Seattle expansion was announced, even before Price signed his current contract. They started the renovations before COVID hit. The property is not evidence of a desire to play in Seattle. If Price is selected by Seattle, he will live in Seattle during the season. As many have pointed out, it's a 6+ hour drive between Kelowna and Seattle, so the location of this house has no bearing on where Price will play as they only live there in the offseason.

How is this relevant? The season is over, they are visiting her family, just like they have done every off season since she joined him in Montreal. They even lived with her family last summer while their Kelowna home was being renovated, and may be living there again this year until the renovations are complete. Seattle may select Price, but the fact that he is visiting his wife's family now doesn't prove anything.

Yeah but it's only 3 miles on skates without goalie pads. So Carey will just tear off his pads and skate pack to Kelowna after games and practices. The specialist advises this will be good therapy for his knees and hips. He's really going to go through a lot of skate blades though.

Besides, I doubt Bergevin can do that without knowing what moves Seattle made. Once we get the list of Seattle picks and signings, all other GM's will know what's left on the UFA and trade market.
