Pu was a 3rd, really progressed nicely and is a solid guy, but Skinner is a player already. A pretty good one.

I am high on Pu so not that bad... But I can't believe they didn't get a solid piece back. This feels like the add ons for a bigger piece in a Skinner deal.

Skinner didn't want to sign an extension with Buffalo...... its the reason why the offer was so bad.

I mean at least they got an OK prospect, a 1st, and 2 top 9 players. Hurricanes got basically a 2nd and 2 thirds.

Buffalo barely gave up anything.

I posted before the return was announced. Agreed they didn't give up a bunch but a team on the rebuild dumping 3 draft picks on a guy entering UFA next summer in a year buffalo is not expected to be competitive still seems very loose with their asset management.

Obviously if they extend him good on them
