These days Ovi is only relevant on the pp, which is ice cold. His Even strength play is horrendous. Guy needs to pick it up

He's on pace for his lowest career point total with 41 goals and 21 assists for 61 points. That's unacceptably low, not to mention the penalties he's been taking.

He needs to get his head out of his ass ASAP.

I don't think its unusual for this time of year for him, though. His history is that he has a run after the new year scoring around 20 goals in 20 games. The league wears down faster than he does and when they are beaten up he takes advantage of them.

I thought I heard Joe B say after his last goal that he had the same number of goals at this time last season.

Edit I just checked. last season after 24 games he had 12 goals

In a way I'm glad that they are starting to call OV for that lazy slash to the hands thing he does on defense. It forces him to try to actually make a play that will have an affect.
