Trotz is doing a good job with this team. There were a lot of changes in the off season. We all knew it would take time.

I have watched Vrana since his 1st Dev camp after his draft and he was the fastest one out there in every one he attended. Maybe he will turn out to be what we all want Burka to be.

Either way with Kuzy, Burka, Vrana and hopefully Gersich on the way this team has some young speed up front.

For comparisons sake McDavid was clocked at 40.9 km/h on the goal he scored against Flames on opening night.

And Vrana's runway was shorter than McDavid, he started flat footed from the Caps' blue line while McDavid started from the Oilers' goal line. That's super impressive, I knew Vrana was fast but I didn't know he had that extra gear like McDavid.
