Cool, but still hate him

Yep...Justin Schultz got the same treatment....and he was a lot closer to signing with his home town-team in VanCity than Aston-Reese, who was born and raised in NYC.....but sometimes these College UFA's and their agents over-think things.

Schultz I'm sure had more than one occasion to regret signing with the Oilers....and a guy like Aston-Reese would probably have been a lot closer to everyday employment in the NHL with the sad-sack Canucks, than he will be with the stacked Pens.....but obviously a lot closer to winning a Cup.
