I agree. Subban is not a TC favorite. He definitely deserved to be there though.

for this tournament i agree, TC loves its lefty righty pairings though and subban was the odd man out

Curious about Bergeron. No question he is a good player and a great fit with Crosby, but I just have a feeling he may not be on the next team. I feel the same way about Perry and even Getzlaf. There may be younger players who do what they do only better by 2018.

I'm not sure if stamps is selected again unless he rebounds and rediscovers his shot. He has been underwhelming at best in this tournament.

this is a joke about bergeron , right? the team in question is 2 years away not like he will be a shadow of himself

Stamkos, Giroux, O'Reilly, and Couture haven't shown much this tourney. Certainly not enough to be automatic additions to the next one. Would like to see a few more natural wing players next time, don't agree that most centres can move to wing and be as effective as actual wingers.(especially around the oppositions net)

If Bergeron doesn't get selected next tourny, then Toews/Getzlaf 100% won't be chosen for some mysterious reason either.

Depends how some players age, Getzlaf/Perry could stay strong like Jumbo or start poor and never catch up. People putting Marchand but he could not have a great season or go back to around 50-55 points. Predicting young players is also pretty hard, my guess is that Ekblad doesn't make it...too much competition on the right side.

It's 16 months away. I'm pretty sure the team won't change much from now. Add maybe McDavid. You can probably already pencil in the Marchand - Crosby - Bergeron line.
