Last night in one match we landed in Rivertown and after the 1st circle was on us we had a team that came over.

We started firing on them and they ran into the house across from us. My buddy was on the roof so I left and flanked while he was firing on them.

He knocks one while I'm going up the stairs. I get to the room and his teammate is reviving him. I'm thinking, 2 easy put downs.

As I start firing a Molotov flies through the window and lights me up. My friend killed me.

I was chasing a guy once out in the blue in duo's and my buddy who was safe in the circle got an ATV and came to get me. I told him to run over the guy I was chasing and he missed him and tagged me. The guy turned around and killed my buddy too. We spectated and he died in the blue circle a few seconds later as he had no health packs.

Just a baaaad chain of events haha.

We sometimes only have 3 of us so we play with randos every time.

One time all 4 of us landed in the same spot (a lot or times doesn't happen with randos) and we need to get to the circle. The rando wanted us in the helicopter. We're not fans of vehicles and having our position known so we declined.

He ended up getting in a huge truck and proceeded to run over my other 2 buddies. I team killed him. Still annoying.

Nuke town will be good for fast camos.

ARs and lmgs are done. Swordfish is done, and the other 2 tac rifles are half way. The koshka and outlaw are also done, and those are probably the 2 worst weapons.

Just picked up the game for PS4, digital. I have never played a game like Blackout before, skipped all of Fortnite, etc. It is so much fun! I love it. Even the matches are great! I had played WW2 and had some fun with it, but I missed the future tech weapons and the movement of BO3, I was going to skip this year but happy I have not. The graphics to me seem a bit cartoony though if you follow me. But otherwise have had a lot of fun.
I wonder if there will be more blackout maps.

Best COD since Black Ops 1.
The multiplayer? Hell no. It feels like a beta. There’s like at most 5 guns for each class, the game is so fast you’re barely alive for any length of time, it’s unbalanced as hell, and there’s not even any grenades or anything. I can’t stand it. Maybe it’ll grow on me.

I like it. Probably on par with black ops 3, first 2 black ops games were better but this is a lot better than the crap we've been getting recently.

There's enough weapons, and lots of them have an OP mod that changes the gun a lot and makes it unique. Makes it feel like there's more guns in the game.

Jumped on the hype bandwagon and got it, but after just a few hours regretted it. Blackout is slow-paced boredom and multiplayer is fast-paced boredom like all previous CoDs. Is R6 the only good, populated FPS now?

Anyone else think the Multiplayer is garbage?

I don't. I really enjoy it.

Best COD since Black Ops 1.

Ehh. I can't go that far as MW3 is the best BO since Black Ops 1 IMO. I do think it is one of the better ones recently.

I agree 100% on both points. The OP mod really does change things. For example, I wasn't a huge fan of the GKS at first. I put on the quad burst OP mod and it was a game changer for me.

I hope they do another Nuketown 24/7 in the next few weeks so I can do my snipers. Have both Assault and Tac rifles Diamond, two of the subs and one LMG.

Is nuketown available in private lobbies, or am I just crazy? Just recent purchased this, and have all the updates installed. Wanted to go into local play and get used to the maps and check out nuketown, but couldn't find it. Seems odd it wouldn't be included in offline play as well.

Jesus Christ how the hell does anyone play this multiplayer? I could see the Fortnite generation loving it but from a COD/FPS stand point, this is just sad.

I dunno. I have been playing since MW2 and I enjoy it. While it isn't on the MW2/MW3/BO1 tier, it is significantly better than the Infinite Warfare/Advanced Warfare tier.

In the little time that I have spent playing BO4 I actually was enjoying the multiplayer more than I thought I would. I absolutely hated the multiplayer beta and thought I would only be playing blackout. But I was surprised at how I was doing. I don't think I like it more than WW2, but I definitely like it more than BO3 and Infinite/Advanced warfare.

I really don’t like the specialists. I know CoD has to keep “innovating” to stay relevant, but the specialists are just an annoyance to me. It’s not a hero shooter, I don’t need characters with these crazy special abilities. I’m not sure of the general consensus though. Do most people like the specialists and their abilities?

I feel like it just adds more to your favourite type of playstyle: like to camp-choose the torque specialist, like to run and gun choose the ruin, etc. I don't mind it at all really, unless one of them is so overpowered that it ruins it for all other classes.

If they were added to the next COD, I wouldn't be mad. If they were removed, I wouldn't be mad.

Compared to previous CoD? In what way? CoD has always been fast. There’s no huge deviation here.

The movement speed of players seems to be faster than in the past, I commented on that when I first started playing. It's some of the same maps as previous games and they definitely play faster. The weapons and abilities also add more variation and hectic game play. I've played it a little bit, and it does get somewhat better over time, but my complaint with all the new games is that there are too many features and options. It really turns the games into who can figure out the OP strategy/build and abuse the game the most, rather than actually being talented at pointing and shooting first. Even the Zombie maps I've played are really convoluted and take some of the joy away from the simplicity of what used to be just shooting zombies in the face.

I've played Modern Warfare, MW2, M3, Black Ops, BO2, World at War, Ghost, and this one is competing with Ghost for worst of the bunch.

It's far better than last year but still nowhere near the Modern Warfare level.

As has been the case with CoD games for several years now, the maps are far too small and open. Causes way too much spawn flipping and 5 second life spans.

But somehow you'll still get the idiot kids that love voting for shit maps like Nuketown and Firing Range every single time they come up.

Oh don't hate on Firing Range  That's probably my favorite map of any CoD. I hate Nuketown, I hated Dome, and Rust and even Shipment honestly because they were just clusterf*** nade-fests, but I love Firing Range.

Shipment was actually kinda fun simply because that was way back in the day when they used to have the 3X Frag perk. It was a total shit show.

But even then, if I recall correctly Shipment got voted down constantly. These dumb kids can't get enough of these crap small maps now.

Think Crash is my all time favorite. Followed closely by Favela.

I mean, Nuketown and Firing Range are 8 year old maps (as are Summit and Jungle). I think they are more of fan favorites than anything else.

Crash was good, as was Favela. Speaking of Favela, MW2 had the best maps IMO and that isn't just a nostalgia factor. Invasion (got my first nuke there), Skidrow, Terminal, Underpass, Karachi... So much goodness.

I don't think the maps are bad in BO4 per se, I just feel like they couldn't make up their mind when they were creating the maps. They are all over the place. They pale in comparison to WWII and BO3 maps.
