He was the most impressive player for the Phantoms in the series against the Marlies in the AHL playoffs. We had a stacked roster as well.
Picked him up in my keeper league. Dude has shown some major tools this preseason.
Pimp, Provocop and Gritty... that's a team to followOh...and for those non Flyers fans that come into this thread, his nickname is The Pimp. @Captain Dave Poulin will show you why in due time.
I’ll be happy to eat crow if he becomes a good NHL player. I can’t say that I was a big believer.

Why he couldn't stick with the big club?
Voro played more than Lehtera in most of his NHL games and Patrick had only one game that he had less time and that's when he got hurt in the first period. Voro was sent down because Weal came in for Patrick during his injury and stayed in when Patrick came back.He was sabotaged by our head coach, who actively hates most young players. Our GM, who is notoriously patient and does not make it easy for young players to crack the lineup said Vorobyev "broke the doors down." Unfortunately, head coach Hakstol decided to cut Vorobyev's icetime dramatically at the first sign of inconsistent play.
Hakstol, who loves washed up veterans, decided to start playing Lehtera more than both Vorobyev & Patrick at center. Lehtera then, over time, decidedly played himself to recent benchings. So, really, Vorobyev was just a victim of Hakstol. A truly terrible hockey coach with a long history of choosing veteran players, no matter how they actually perform on the ice, over younger players.
Because he's young and the team has older more experienced younglings. Why he couldn't stick with the big club?
