Cullen has been solid all year but I'm not sure he deserves a raise on his current cap hit. It's not like he's going to be better at 40 than he was at 39. The wheels are going to fall off at some point and you don't wanna be stuck with a million dollar contract when that happens.

Just offer him the same money he's making now. If he can't hack it you can bury him in the AHL and the cap hit will be almost completely covered up.

I'm not going to rejoice in DB's failure, but I'm sure glad that nonsense is going on somewhere besides here.
