Game won't be held tomorrow (vs. Ottawa). Looks like the Leafs are flying home this afternoon, and have a few days in Toronto before hosting Boston on Saturday.

That's pretty surprising if they don't play it out tomorrow already. It suits both teams since the next game for both of us is on saturday. Maybe the leafs won't fly back at all.

Life goes on and tomorrow there's not going to be an alarming situation anymore.

This boston game will be very exciting to watch also... zdeno chara hasn't been himself this season. We have a chance.

IMO Bernier should get the start, he's been a rock in his last two starts - get Reimer into a game next weekend on one of the back to backs

There's much more involved than the simple convenience of both teams having their players in the same city at the same time. There's the logistics behind scheduling and staffing the arena for the game in Ottawa, possible re-arrangement of television schedules, finding an officiating crew, etc. Probably impossible to do all this in 1 day.

Not to sound insensitive because I know it's definitely not an important issue at the moment, but when do they plan to play the Ottawa game? Before Saturday or at a later date?

Henny tweeted the rescheduled game should take place within the next month or so.

I'm looking at November 9 (Sunday) or November 10 (Monday). Sunday makes more sense since Ottawa plays in Vancouver on Tuesday.

Both the Leafs and Sens have home games on November 8 (Saturday)

Oh it's been done. Last season there was a game I think between buffalo and some other team... or maybe it was something else. But still.
They played the day after.
