We've already witnessed Brady's leadership abilities. You're just throwing out hypotheticals and think that's just as valid.

I think Chabot is better. The rest is up for date. For forwards I think stutzle will be better but not Norris

Allegedly. They definitely value Brady and what he brings highly, that can't be disputed. They drafted him 4th overall and have shaped the character of this rebuild in a form that fits Tkachuck's playstyle. I'm sure they also want to pay him as little money as possible. That's the business.

It is totally fine to value what Tkachuck brings lower than how Ottawa management does, again, different people like different styles and different paths to building a competitive team.

8x8 ... He should grab that and jump for joy.. regardless of trade clauses or structure or bonuses.
Take the fn 8x8 and get on with it.
At least take the 8x8 in proincipal .. negotiate some bells and whistles and move on.
You want to finesse the negotiation to get more its just greed
