Yeah he was noticeable in a good way today. Could end up being some silver lining to JBow getting hurt.

Well, L.A. isn't exactly playing well, as we just saw. Kopitar has been amazing, Doughty is really good, but hte rest of the team has been iffy. Calgary is also iffy, and it's easily buyable we can hold them off. Were things get iffy is Colorado, who is playing really good hockey right now, having only lost 1 of their last 10 in regulation. If they slow down, we... have as good a shot as anyone at the 8 seed if we warm up? The problem is, if we actually want to do... anything at all in the playoffs, we probably need to climb to 7th and avoid Nashville. That means catching Dallas, which, maybe? They aren't lighting the world on fire right now.

Totally agree. I thought he looked pretty good against San Jose too, even tho he didn't get a lot of ice time. Hopefully he can keep it up and gain some confidence!

Where’s Anaheim, Calgary and Minny?

Anaheim is in 3rd in the Pacific at 80 (Sharks at 81), Calgary is 1 point ahead of us but have played one more game. Minny is on fire, up to 85 points. Dallas at 82 is the more realistic goal right now.

I actually value +/- over faceoff percentage as a major stat in hockey. Tampa is sitting at 28th in the league in faceoff percentage this year, I think they are doing just fine.

Being legitimate, the fact that the Rangers/Islanders/Blackhawks just refused to actually win was ending it for us anyway. It was very easy to see us falling to 11th, but 10th was a long shot at best.

It's pretty crazy how little the Blues have scored when Allen is in net. Seriously though, I can't live through another year where Allen is freakin Patrick Roy towards the end of the regular season. Either be Roy or be Allen.
