We were hemmed in the zone for a while, too. This is more than just “JBo needs to get used to things”, and “we have to play more on the inside”. This has to be a coaching issue, right?

I mean, there's certainly some coaching issues here, but the players' execution is so bad right now that it's hard to tell just how much is on the coaching staff.

I don’t know if it’s that bad. It’s really just special teams and Steen on the wrong wing.

Sobotka-Stastny-Tarasenko looks decent, and Schenn and Schwartz look fine. The defense when moving are good outside of or exits and entrances.

Sobotka. And that’s why we didn’t like his extension - there are other guys on this team that do mostly the same thing. If Fabbri were healthy it would be hard to justify both Sobotka and Berglund on those deals.
