I considered exactly that deal initially, basically money-in-money-out. I just wasn't sure if Nelson still has the value to get it done..? Especially after the fleecing Stan took on the Joki deal...

Nylander has been pretty good for the Hawks. It looks like a win-win so far. He's been carrying mediocre talent offensively.
