I truly do think a lot of criticism would of been avoided for this game if they decided to push it back 6 to 12 months. It clearly needed more time in the oven to get a shitload of bugs out of its system and to provide a timely content drop. Even with the design issues in tow, it could of still been a lot better than when it came out initially. I love the Battlefield series, but man, this is the kind of shit management should get fired over. This is the kind of stuff that should make EA completely reconsider using Frostbite for any future games and either making a brand new engine or just go UE5.
Outside of Apex Legends, what internal EA property/internally made game has come out in the last 4 or 5 years that didn't have many, if any, hiccups? This doesn't include "It Takes Two," as it was published by EA, but made by an indie studio.
