Not really sure where all the Burish hate is coming from. He hasn't looked "horrible." Certainly better than Scott or Brown, plus is second among forwards in PK ice time. His Goals against per 60 when on the PK is below Pavs, Marleau and Thornton.

He hasn't been great but I the entire 4th line hasn't had a good game until IMO last night.

It's not really that hard to find out where it is coming from. Many knew it was a bad signing from day one and he has proven that to be true thus far. He's played much better this year than the past two that he was in for which isn't saying much. He's still not living up to his contract with how he's looked now. As for comparing him to Scott or Brown, those two have a very specific role on this team and generally fulfill that role when called upon. Burish does not. Looking at their GA/60 this season on the PK is a ridiculously small sample size and isn't apples to apples. Burish is a secondary killer. Marleau and Pavs are primary. Thornton barely sees PK time at all.

Burish is just overpaid and very replaceable. He's just very easy to dislike given his antics and hockey sense when he is on the ice. Given the current status of the team, it isn't nearly as important to get rid of him since they aren't using the cap space anyway but if he's in a young guy's way who is better than him then he should be one of the first to go...him or Kennedy.

Given what I saw of him in preseason I'm really looking forward to us getting Goody back on the ice...whichever one of the names mentioned has to give up their slot to make that happen...

In a perfect world we wouldn't have both of Scott and Brown (or possibly either). But since DW seems rather infatuated with Brown, I doubt he'd waive him. Scott probably isn't likely to go down either, but it's not like there's a huge risk of him getting claimed if he does. (For personal disclosure, I rather like what John Scott has brought to the team thus far).

As others have stated, they could always send down Tierney to make some extra space (not that he should suffer because we have too many plugs in the lineup), or have someone suddenly come down with an "injury".

There exists no world or dimension or alternate universe in which Voyager is better then DS9

Agreed DS9 is the best Trek. Voyager is terrible. You can make a legitimate argument for the original series or the next generation but its DS9 for me. Voyager and Enterprise shouldn't even be in the conversation.

False. In my world, Voyager is clearly better.

Voyager sucks. and Barclay was from TNG. He was only on Voyager as a cheap attempt to get TNG fans to watch someone they might actually care about. Right before they went to plan b, which was Jeri Ryan in a leotard.

but we're getting off topic.

As long as the post include Barclay I think we're good :sarcasm:

Tierney is at his 9 game limit. I really hope they aren't stupid enough to send him down, he's been great.
