Good chance it’s a higher value than a 2nd…hopefully. Could be a recent 1st round prospect, which holds much more value

For all we know, there are details about this trade that haven't been announced yet. It could be that Vegas is giving us a 1st/2nd and their top prospect while other teams were only offering picks. I need more context before I say this is a bad trade.

Wouldn't surprise me to see any of their top 5 prospects in the trade. Tbh and if all we were getting offered was a 2nd and a meh prospect Like Hunter Skinner I'd rather take the prospect by himself anyways

Agreed. This could be a good trade and potentially (depending on what Army does with the newly acquired picks or who is drafted with them) the best of the bunch.

Lindbom is a Goalie prospect for Vegas. They don't have any Swedish defenders, at least not in their top 10 or so prospects that I know of.

Either would be ... Ok. Both have potential, both also have "can they elevate their game to NHL level" questions, and neither has had a particularly strong season in their respective junior leagues compared to last year.

Even so, it would be yet more depth at forward which you would think eventually needs to be tapped for help on defense where the cupboard is bare.
