This could cost Sweden a medal and have all their game results where Backstrom played nullified. That's what usually happens when a member of a team event like a relay is caught breaking PED rules.

Lol everyone jumping to conclusions. Is it performance enhancing? I doubt it.

The list of banned substances is ridiculous.

take allergy medicine = reduce headaches = better performance = PERFORMANCE ENHANCING :sarcasm:

This could cause Sweden a medal and have all their results stripped. That's what usually happens when a member of a team event is caught breaking PED rules.

This is completely false. There are different rules for different medications. When it's a substance like an over the counter medicine, such as claritin, they won't do this. Unless it was HGH or something of the like (which i highly doubt) there is absolutely no way this would be remotely a possibility.

Look at past occurrences before spewing some nonsense.

Even then, they'll only usually strip the player of the medal, not the team. That's NEVER happened.
