Why is it important that mistakes are publicly acknowledged?

Because you earn respect doing that. There’s a lot of people questioning Babcock and his antiquated way of thinking. People questioning his stubborn arrogant demeanour. Admitting he screwed up helps us believe that maybe, just maybe, he can change.
