A lot of ****ing awful teams are guilty of this. CBJ, EDM, FLA, the Isles on some occasions. It's so frustrating watching great talent get rushed into the league, and subsequently ruined.

I'd rather ANY (non-rival) franchise other than EDM and FLA get McDavid. Any of them.

Be careful what you wish for. The Flyers, Devils or Canadiens getting that pick would not be good for the Rangers.

I think Buffalo is doing an outstanding job with their young talent. Not a good team, but not rushing any of their prospects. Reinhart has a one-way ticket to Juniors coming up. Grigorenko can't crack the roster. They bring in vets like Gionta, Moulson, Gorges.

That's how you rebuild.
