Its good to be back, I've ditched Chrome cos this site refused to play ball with it. What series are you most pumped for other than Bruins? For me its FAR AND AWAY Pens/Flyers. Its gonna be a blood bath. I think Flyers get it done. Its going to be amazing to watch with hatred for both, I hope they all kill each other.

One of the girls on my team is a Penguins fan. She came into my office this morning wishing the Bruins luck.

I told her other than a Bruins victory I'm rooting for nothing more than the demise of the Penguins and hope they succumb to a swift exit culminating in Crosby bleeding from his whiny little face. She was shocked...I told her I've been nice about the whole Pitt thing since I'm her boss, but Playoffs Boss is a different beast.

GTFO of my office.

Philly-Pitt begins tonight. It's always a treat when these two meet. It's not going to happen but, I'm hoping to see a repeat performance from a few years back when every game ended, like, 9-8.

Makes sense. They have one thing going for them, they can offer the 8th year on a deal.

No point in dealing him before July 1 (unless a team blows them out of the water) until you can at least make him an 8-year offer and see what his reaction is. Not like his value will decrease between now and July 1.

And since they don’t own their 1st next year (unless they give a top-5 pick to Col this year) they have no incentive to have a bad season next year.

If you can’t sign him to an extension, Keep him and trade him at the deadline unless someone overpay this summer.

Exactly, and who knows how much their situation can change. They went from a goal away from a Stanley Cup final, to total turmoil 6 months later, maybe the pendulum can swing back the other way and Karlsson becomes more inclined to stay.

So happy the 100 pt Penguins get to host the 98 pt Flyers, while the 112 pt Bruins get the 105 pt Leafs....

And last year it was the 111 pt Penguins hosting the 108 point CBJ. Meanwhile it was the 98 pt Senators hosting the 95 pt. Bruins in the 2nd/3rd seed in the Atlantic.

It balances itself out.
