Um....I'd rather sign Jagr for the 3rd line or make the *** Duchene trade happen so we can quit ****ing talking about it!

Minnesota is losing to Detroit right now and I've barely seen any of the game so my only comment is this new arena makes watching a game on TV so much better because you don't have hands and heads in your way constantly like you did at Joe Louis.

Tell you what the Refs better get more consistent with the slashes. NBC is calling them out for not calling it based on timing and the situation.

I decided to try the "sportsbook" here for the first time yesterday and today.

So far my picks have been:
Flames over Oilers
Sharks over Flyers
Rangers over Avalanche
Predators over Bruins
Sabres over Habs
Wild over Red Wings
Sens over Caps

I might not be cut out for this "pick the winning team" thing.

The Vegas sportsbooks would absolutely love you though. Might feel bad enough to give you free drinks.

And guess who the Pens face next????? Hawks not doing us any favors. You know they are going to be ready to play....

10-1 Hawks!! I'm both giddy and nauseous at the same time. Probably not a good thing since I'll be at the game Saturday in Pittsburgh.

The Hawks have something to prove this season. And I wont mind a bit if they dented Murray's psyche tonight. Still would have rather the Hawks(and Blues) had lost to the Pens, though

Man I wish we had Neal back. Looking like an all-star in Vegas. He's gonna have a huge year, imo hopefully we trade for him. According to Friedman we are in market for a forward.

Second ever Golden Knights goal goes to James Neal.

...no, really. :scared:

Think of it this way - he's still helping us out by bringing down Dallas. :thumbu:

And we protected some 4th liner instead of him. Can't express enough how bad move that was. You win with guys like Neal not with guys like Jarny.

poile is gonna look pretty dumb by seasons end it seems. granted, it's one game

On one hand, I kind of understand what Poile was thinking taking the locked in contract vs the free agent in one year. On the other hand, it is so much easier to replace Calle Jarnkrok (even if you have to pay a little more for the contract) than it is to replace Neal. It was a bad decision when it first happened and it's looking even worse now.

It was simple bad asset management. Not that it matters now though.

Not going to happen. If Poile wouldn’t pay extra to keep Neal, he wouldn’t pay the price to trade for him.
