From my vantage point, the situation might be more dire for the Oilers than the Sabres for a few reasons.

The odd thing is that up until 7-10 days ago they were actually playing good Hockey, just unlucky.

I fully expect them to score 7 or 8 goals on the Sabres in a few days and turn their season around. We're usually responsible for turning a team's season around.

Too true. It seems like whoever sorts out their development cycle to start feeding talent back into the big club first will turn it around first. Or maybe the Oilers defense will get healthy too and then we'll just have to hear about how crap-tastic the Sabres are.
