Not pointing out you in particular, but him moving on was part of the culture change. It had to be done as much as I loved what he brought to the team over the years.
Disagree, the culture is horrible now, no way it can't be with the 0-9-1 record. We should have kept Verby, he produces and is a solid vet.

Best part is we can be 0-40-1, nobody in the national media will ever care as long as the Canadiens keep going the way they started.

Was the culture horrible when we lost nine in a row last year? How about when we went 3-12-4 over an extended stretch? Was it horrible when the team managed 56 points on the season? Or is this just selective memory again?

This is way worse because its the start of the year with a new coach and new players. The team has had zero success. Not even one win. We have too many young players on this team for the culture not to be brutal. They haven't ever at any level been through anything like this until now. If we had more vets on the roster, the culture would have a better shot at surviving. But then we wouldn't be 0-9-1 would we.

Jets up on the Penguins 5-0 after the first period. Blake ********* Wheeler with a hat trick already.

Murray gets pulled, DeSmith comes in between the pipes for his first NHL game, Wheeler immediately walked Letang and scores first shot. Poor guy

I still have disdain for Blake Wheeler and the role his prima Donna ways have had in the cluster that is the Coyotes

Griffin Reinhart on Waivers? #4 pick in 2012; we should probably claim him (he's probably a better option than Connauton)

Never been impressed with Reinhart at any stage of his development. Probably better than KConn, you're right there. Can't believe we didn't just trade Domingue for him. Seems such an obvious move.

It could still happen. Both players clear waivers then neither team has to stress about them clearing right after the trade.

Disagree. They are both bad and incapable of steady NHL minutes. Connauton used to be mobile but he is slow as shit this year.

Weird how all those blowouts skew the stats.

Pittsburgh has a -14 goal differential with a 7-5-1 record
Buffalo has a -15 goal differential with a 3-7-2 record
Edmonton has a -11 goal differential with a 3-6-1 record
Rangers have a -9 goal differential with a 3-7-2 record

Well, Reinhart is big and it's not like it'd hurt us. Who knows, he might make a positive change with this team rather than the new start in Vegas.

OEL 6'2, 200 lbs | Goligoski 5'11, 188 lbs
Hjalms 6'3, 197 lbs | Demers 6'1, 200 lbs
Connauton 6'2, 205 lbs | Schenn 6'2, 229 lbs
Chychrun 6'3, 200 lbs | Clendening 6'0, 196 lbs

Reinhart 6'4, 217 lbs

But, yeah, I'd rather wait until both make it through waivers before a possible trade (Reinhart would be second to Wood--6'5, 210 lbs) in the system (size-wise)

McGinn is having the beginnings of a nice bounce back season in Florida. Second line time on a bad team. 3 goals and 5 points in 11 points. Good for him.
