Not for 4 rounds but yes McDrai are definitely able to hard carry that team.Unfortunately, McDavid is good enough to carry that team on a deep run.
Love how the 2010 Habs are on the wrong side of two of the top 10 differentials... and still won anyways because HalakOkay. This is just nutty. Carolina had a shot attempt differential of 82-11
I really didn't expect that series to be so one sided but holy shit are the Isles getting absolutely caved in.
Unlikely. That would also kill TDL activity. Is there any talk that the league will put an end to this bullshit of bloated over-the-cap rosters for playoffs?
Yeah. People are saying Oettinger was bad, but Thompson was far worse. Shouldn't even have been close. The Marchment goal was something an 8 year old with a baseball glove is expected to catch 99/100 times.Rittch and Hill gotta start the next games
that requires CBA renegotiations. the league can ask for it but the players will demand concession for it and it's probably not worth it for the league. Is there any talk that the league will put an end to this bullshit of bloated over-the-cap rosters for playoffs?
Bieksa was laying on the sarcasm pretty good about Stone’s return yesterday, too. You could ditch every other member of that panel and just have Bieksa talk by himself and it would be better.
Agree with Hill. I think LA is f***ed no matter what, Rittich has been lit up by the Oilers beforeRittch and Hill gotta start the next games
PA is a hard stance to take. Players would like to get traded to good teams, but there's also those on other clubs who have to play a more stacked team. Not much different than the PA defending a player during a suspension hearing.that requires CBA renegotiations. the league can ask for it but the players will demand concession for it and it's probably not worth it for the league.

what do you mean by PA is a hard stance?PA is a hard stance to take. Players would like to get traded to good teams, but there's also those on other clubs who have to play a more stacked team. Not much different than the PA defending a player during a suspension hearing.
LTIR was meant to give teams a chance to replace a player. but, unless that player missed the entire season, you didn't make a big move because you didn't have cap room to reactive that player before the season ended.
The league will still make the necessary changes. You don’t think PA loved those 10 year cap circumvention contracts where players could get paid $10M for the first half of the contract and end up a $6M AAV since they’d retire before the last 2-3 years when they’d make peanuts? It basically artificially raised the cap, that was amazing for the PAPA is a hard stance to take. Agree with this..I'm equally not a fan of either team, but at least the Oilers play an attacking style of hockey. No way should the 1-3-1 be rewarded. As they said on the morning show today, you can't play the 1-3-1 when McDavid is already past you before you even start standing around trying to clog up the neutral zone.
No love for the Oilers, but good to see the Kings abhorrent style of hockey absolutely dummied in the playoffs so we don't have to watch it anymore.
??? no. Please explain in detail with diagrams.Hyman has really broken (out).
GET IT?!
Rob Blake has done a tremendously bad job at eroding the depth on that team. Vilardi, Durzi, Iafallo, Walker...for PLD.Agree with this..I'm equally not a fan of either team, but at least the Oilers play an attacking style of hockey. No way should the 1-3-1 be rewarded.
I will need to research exactly what it looks like first. BRB??? no. Please explain in detail with diagrams.
still remember how LA was this model franchise like 1 year ago on this message board. How they have a bright future while the canucks were doomed.Rob Blake has done a tremendously bad job at eroding the depth on that team. Vilardi, Durzi, Iafallo, Walker...for PLD.
They were better off in 2022 but simply have zero depth in their forward group and have a rather soft and crappy blueline.
LA Kings fans want sweeping changes but any retool or rebuild may not be possible for a few years.

Every time Thompson moved side-to-side at all, he literally resembled Swiss cheese. Massive holes everywhere, under the arms, over the arms, gaping five-hole. He's not compact. Dallas is going to light him up G2.
Agree with both, thompson and talbot both looked so bad just can't start them again the next game, even if its just rest for talbot.Agree with Hill. I think LA is f***ed no matter what, Rittich has been lit up by the Oilers before
Looks like for now we can join all the Western Conference teams with questionable goaltending.
Georgiev
Oettinger
Thompson
Talbot
